We Use Google Analytics GA4 & UA
We Enable Google Signals Data Collection
Note that reporting/analysis will only reflect data collected under this setting where there is sufficient traffic for the property. Learn more
By activating Google signals, you enable Google Analytics to collect data about your traffic in addition to data collected through a standard Google Analytics implementation in order to provide additional features like cross-device audiences and insights.
When enabled, Google Analytics will collect visitation information and associate it with Google information from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalisation. This Google information may include end user location, search history, YouTube history and data from sites that partner with Google – and is used to provide aggregated and anonymised insights into your users’ cross device behaviours. By enabling these features, you acknowledge that you adhere to the Google Advertising Features Policy, including rules around sensitive categories, have the necessary privacy disclosures and rights from your end users for such association and that such data may be accessed and/or deleted by end users via My Activity.
Note: Enabling the above toggle causes Google Analytics to automatically collect additional data about your traffic. If you don't want to collect data for Google signals, you should disable the toggle above as well as ensure that you have not manually enabled any Advertising Features data collection in your Google Analytics Tags.
We Enable Advanced Settings to Allow for Ads Personalisation
When ads personalisation is allowed, you may export your Google Analytics audiences and conversions to your linked Ads accounts for the purpose of delivering relevant, personalised experiences to your end users.
You may configure Google Analytics at the property level to collect data for ads personalisation purposes, in addition to measurement, in connection with your use of such features as Google signals, User ID, ads integrations and/or if you enable data sharing with Google. Disabling Ads Personalisation means that existing shared audience lists are marked as inactive, no new users will be shared via audience lists, and any exported data, whether audiences exported via a linking integration or data shared under the Google products and services sharing setting, will be designated as not for use in ads personalisation. Learn more
To learn more about how to disable ads personalisation uses of Analytics data collected from your users going forward from our SDK or Global Site Tag, please refer to the following resources: Using Google Analytics for Firebase and Using the Google Analytics Global Site Tag.
We Agree to Google’s User Data Collection Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we have the necessary privacy disclosures and rights from our end users for the collection and processing of their data, including the association of such data with the visitation information that Google Analytics collects from my site and/or app property.
We Enable 14 Months of User and Event Data Retention
You can change the retention period for data you send that is associated with cookies, user identifiers or advertising identifiers. These controls don’t affect most standard reporting, which is based on aggregated data. Changes to these settings take effect after 24 hours. Learn more
When you submit a contact form and/or make a purchase through the Site using payment processing, we will retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase this information.
We Enable Data Collection for Advertising Features
By enabling Advertising Features, you enable Google Analytics to collect data about your traffic in addition to data collected through a standard Google Analytics implementation. Before enabling Advertising Features, ensure that you review and adhere to the applicable policies. Data collection for remarketing also requires that data collection for advertising reporting features is enabled. Learn more
Note: Google Analytics automatically collects data about your traffic. If you don't want to collect data for advertising features, then you need to turn off both toggles as well as ensure that you haven't manually enabled any advertising features data collection in your Google Analytics tags.
We Enable Remarketing
Enables data collection for Display and Search Remarketing. This includes data from Google's signed-in users who have chosen to enable Google to associate their web and app browsing history with their Google Account, and to use such information from their Google Account to personalise ads. Google Analytics temporarily joins these identifiers to your Google Analytics data in order to support your audiences. When you enable this setting, you must adhere to the Google Analytics Advertising Features Policy, including rules around sensitive categories and the necessary privacy disclosures to your end users about the data you collect and share with Google.
By enabling remarketing, Google will collect additional data about your traffic to enable Display and Search Remarketing. When you enable this setting, you must adhere to the Google Analytics Advertising Features Policy, including rules around sensitive categories.
We Enable Advertising Reporting Features
Enables Advertising Reporting features like Audience Demographics and Interests Reporting, Campaign Manager 360 reporting, Display & Video 360 reporting and Google Display Network Impression Reporting that help you better understand your users. Learn more
We Link Google Analytics to Google Ads
By linking your Analytics property to your Google Ads account, you'll enable data to flow between the products. Data exported from your Analytics property into Google Ads is subject to the Google Ads terms of service, while Google Ads data imported into Analytics is subject to the Analytics terms of service. By creating this link, your email address will be recorded and may be visible to authorised users of this Google Analytics property and/or the linked Google Ads account. Learn more
We Enable Personalized Advertising
Google Analytics audience lists and remarketing events/parameters will be published to the linked Google Ads accounts. You can change this setting anytime while maintaining your link for other purposes.
We Enable Auto-Tagging
Auto-tagging allows Analytics to associate Google Ads data automatically with customer clicks, enabling richer and more detailed reporting data than manual tagging across a number of Google Ads metrics and dimensions. Any Google Ads reporting features or ad units added in the future will only be available if auto-tagging is enabled.
We Enable auto-tagging on selected Google Ads accounts (recommended by Google).
This option appends a unique ID to the end of the destination URL. This ID lets Analytics report the details of each click. If this option is selected when linking to a manager account, auto-tagging will be enabled on all Google Ads Accounts directly linked to the manager account. Learn more
